Makara Twist Cuff Sets

This is an exquisite sandcast set of cuffs from Madhya Pradesh, India. They feature Makara, a sea creature of the Hindu Zodiac (like Capricorn). This creature, have terrestrial and half aquatic is a consort of Shiva and is said to protect against the dangers of the deep.
These cuffs are part of an extensive antique collection we acquired and are both rare and quite magical.
