Eugene J Cuff

I love this Navajo cuff because of how it bridges the gap between tradition and creativity. It bears many of the marks of historic Native American design; the shadowbox, sawtooth bezel turquoise stone and stampwork to name a few. But the design feels freshly invented. The industrially inspired rail work on the sides and the scale exemplify the artist's inspiration. Signed Eugene J on the back.
