Blue Mirrorworks Ring
This amazing Bukhara, Uzbekistan ring dates to around 1850. The ring would have been intended for a bride, with a large mirror, so that she could gaze at the face of her betrothed before they were formally, wed. The ring is covered intricate and mind-boggling hand enamel in classic Arabic designs. Truly the underside of the ring is the star. Mirror is cracked but completely stable and I'm sure the 7 years bad luck has worn off sometime in the last century!
