Orissa Lotus Bangle

This is a spectacular bangle from Orissa India. The aesthetics are lovely, a worn lotus flower adorning a textural band. But the fabrication is otherworldly. It has incredible double screw closures and super fine lattice banding. It is one of those moments that you are in awe of the work that could happen without modern technology.
