Multan Neckpiece
$ 495
The Pakistani city of Multan was ruled in the 1500-1700s by the Mughals and the foliate-inspired design and bright email work has remained a part of the artistic heritage of this Punjab region ever since. This beautiful blue is characteristic and often worn for weddings.
While it is a bold look, this necklace has a particularly nice scale, not too large or small. It is unusual to find a complete necklace as the pendant was often separated. Damage to the upper right corner of the pendant.
Material: Enamel, silver, base metal
