Vietnamese Panel Necklace

This is a spectacular chased collar from the early 20th century. It features delicately chased panels with fish, shanka shells and other symbols of fortune. Each panel is backed , and while it if airy, it reads as solid. This was purchased as Vietnamese. While it carries Chinese symbolism it may be from the Northern Vietnamese boarder with China. A truly spectacular and rare piece of craftsmanship.
