Squash Blossom Earrings
The squash blossom is a classic motive of Navajo and Zuni jewelry, the form evolved from Moorish and Spanish design where it represented a pomegranate. In the new world the shape transformed into a an early sporting blossom and became an icon of Native American design.
These earrings are well crafted, interesting to the eye and yet demure enough that they could be worn with a full turquoise necklace.
