Dogon Bell Necklace

This is a West African necklace with antique brass elements, likely Dogon from Mali. The pendants form elongated (but silent) bells that are graceful, with a special handfeel.  It is on an expertly woven contemporary reed or straw cord that beautifully highlights and elevates the pendant.
